Saguaro Aquatics Health & Safety Protocols

Saguaro Aquatics has transformed the way we offer Swimming Lessons to ensure the Health and Safety of our staff, clients and swimmers. Enhanced HVAC systems for increased fresh air ventilation, precise pool sanitation levels, and regular cleaning of seating, handrails, door handles, teaching equipment, bathrooms, changing rooms and all common touch surfaces. We schedule and bill by the calendar month
Enrollment is continuous and a withdrawal request is due by the 15th of the current month to stop lessons at the end of the month. Our office will pro-rate fees for mid-month starts prior to processing your payment. If you don’t see a lesson time below that works with your schedule, please call our office at 520-638-8040 to inquire about other times we may have available!

Private Lessons

Saguaro Aquatics provides families with swimming lessons specifically designed for children with mental and/or physical disabilities. The SONORAN DOLPHINS program is adapted from Saguaro Aquatics’ swimming lesson curriculum. Our staff receive specialized training on individualizing their lessons to the unique needs, goals, and abilities of their swimmers. This individualized focus promotes the growth and success of each of our Sonoran Dolphins swimmers. After receiving your child’s Assessment Form and completing the introductory lesson, the instructor will customize the curriculum for your child to help them achieve their goals. We consider ourselves a success when our Sonoran Dolphins students are safe in and around the water, and if possible, gain the skills to transition into traditional group swimming lessons

 The Registration Fee per calendar year is $40/family.
 Private swimming lessons are $70/30 minute lesson.

GROUP ADULT FITNESS CLASSES

Our Adult Sonoran Dolphins Aqua Aerobics class is a welcoming, fun, and uplifting adaptive water workout designed for adults with autism or intellectual disabilities, led by coaches who receive specialized training to individualize each class based on the unique needs, goals, and abilities of every participant. Designed to help every participant feel strong, confident, and connected, this class combines easy-to-follow cardio movements with light strength-building exercises, all adapted to meet a wide range of abilities so every participant is able to achieve success. More than just a workout, this class is a community. We emphasize encouragement, teamwork, self-advocacy, and positive social interaction. Participants build meaningful friendships while celebrating each other’s progress. Instructors lead with patience, empathy, and enthusiasm, creating a safe space where each person can move at their own pace and feel proud of what they accomplish. Benefits of the class include accessible cardio exercise that supports heart health and stamina, gentle strength movements that improve balance, coordination, and daily mobility, confidence-building activities that promote independence and self-expression, supportive and inclusive community connections, and opportunities for fun, friendship, and joy through movement.
