PARENT & TOT Swimming Lessons

The Saguaro Babies curriculum is designed to teach progressively challenging skills, building one skill on top of the last skill learned. In Saguaro Babies, the little swimmers gain confidence in the basics of swimming and water safety using a calm, encouraging approach to introducing skills. The curriculum and goals are emailed to participants at the start of each month so you know what to expect at each lesson and the goals of the focus skill for each week. 

After completing Saguaro Babies, swimmers may join Saguaro Tots. The primary difference between Saguaro Babies and Saguaro Tots is the advanced version of skills that are presented in Saguaro Tots and the increased independence with which swimmers perform each skill. The goal of the Saguaro Tots class is to prepare swimmers to be water safe in more “real life” scenarios. Working directly with the instructor is highly encouraged in Saguaro Tots to prepare swimmers for joining group lessons without their parent/guardian. 

You will notice that the Saguaro Tots classes are not listed on our website. The reason for this is so we can ensure that before participating in Saguaro Tots, participants have the skills learned in Saguaro Babies and are at least 18 months of age.
