ADULT ADAPTIVE AQUATICS

Welcome to the Saguaro Aquatics’ Adult Adaptive Aquatics programming page! We offer Group Classes and Private, one on one sessions. Our salt-water pool is kept at 91 degrees and ranges in depth from 3-5.5 feet. Whether in a private setting or in a group class, we have an experienced, patient staff that will assist you on your road to recovery and wellness.

Regardless of age, past injuries or current conditions, most people feel better when in water, moving in a gravity reduced, warm environment – gaining confidence while having fun! Whether one is swimming or walking for exercise, much is gained physically and emotionally. Fitness and improved health when out of the water are obvious benefits from an individualized or group class.

Carolee Capp,

Program Director

I graduated from the University of Oklahoma, and became a Physical Therapist with secondary advanced degree in Gerontology. I moved to Tucson in 1999, drawn to the desert where water is so precious and revered. and the land, the light and the people/cultures are wonderful!! My Physical Therapy formal career continued first at St Mary’s and completed with 15 years at St Joseph Hospital Outpatient Rehab Clinic recently. (almost 47 years total).

It is such a fortuitous and timely opportunity for me to join Saguaro Aquatics! The team of swim coaches love what they do and do it so very well! After years of providing the highest quality swim classes to children of all ages and abilities, Saguaro Aquatics is ready to expand to serve adults in both classes and individuals sessions. I am excited to be here with them as we grow together!!
